The 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup was the 18th tournament of the FIBA Basketball World Cup for men’s national basketball teams. In just a few weeks, the tournament will kick off in China (a first-time host) with a record of 32 teams. Seven are from the Americas, eight from Asia and Oceania, five from Africa and 12 from Europe. Over 16 days (Aug. 31-Sep. 15), 92 games will be played in eight different cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Dongguan, Foshan, Nanjing, and Guangzhou.
