Jhargram District Karate championship has been successfully organized by Jhargram District Karate Association at Jhargram Taruntirtha Hall on 3rd November 2019, the selection process was going on in the district for participate in the state karate championship in this year.
Many students from sub- Divisions in Jhargram to participated in this competition. More than50 events in the game, there were about 250 students attend.
The Championship was inaugurated by the West Bengal M. L. A and Ex. Minister Shri Churamoni Mahata. Ex-Minister said,” This championship will bring self-Defence awareness to among the people”. Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly & Chairman of Pashchimanchal Unnyan Parshad Mr Sukumar Hasda was present as a chief guest. There were present many Social worker & Reputation Sportsperson.
The tournament was supervised under the able guidance of Sensei Gouranga Paul General secretary
