SUKANYA PROJECT an INITIATIVE of Community Wing of KOLKATA POLICE and this year KARATE-DO ASSOCIATION OF BENGAL (KAB) was the only authorized Organization to perform A Self-defence Demonstration on SUKANYA DAY Celebration which was held in NOZRUL MANCHO in front of Our Honorable Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
This initiative was taken by Kolkata police and the president of the karate association of Bengal’s president Mr. Premjit Sen, for around in the observation of Kolkata police 4month 36 coaches and more than in 100 schools taught self-defense. This performance was the showcase of the teaching and celebrations of an extraordinary day dedicated to Sukanya’s by our CM Mamata Banerjee. Our CM herself inaugurated the ceremony, she came to give the members her support and blessings. She praised the members for their hard work and dedication towards this Sukanya project.
Minister Smt. Sashi Panja and other VIP delegates were present to witness the program and they said, it was a splendid performance done by the students and their coaches. A nice initiative took by our government to make our women strong and independent. The whole event was loved by all the viewers present there.
