Saptaporni Chakraborty became the first ‘A’ grade referee in North Bengal. The examination was held in Assam. The exam was taken by the Referee council chairman of the Karate Association Of India Hanshi Premjit Sen.sensei saptaporni successfully passed both theory & practical exam and achieved the title of Kumite ‘A’ referee.
It is a great pride & honor for the entire North Bengal.The only women from the alipurduar junction who achieved the title of first national A grade referee of North Bengal. Karate is a lifetime study it is the way of life. It is just a beginning to learn & achieve more. The next target is the Asian Karate Federation exam to become an Akf referee & make India proud, said saptaporni.
