At just 14 years and 5 months, India’s rising star Jensi Dipakbhai Kanabar has etched her name into the record books, becoming the youngest Indian female to reach the quarterfinals of a professional singles event—surpassing a 25-year-old milestone set by Sania Mirza.
Competing in only her second ITF tournament, Jensi displayed remarkable composure and fighting spirit. She saved four crucial set points in the second set to defeat 22-year-old Sandeepti Singh Rao (WTA ranking 1425) with an impressive 6–3, 7–5 victory, securing her place in the quarterfinals of the ITF W15 New Delhi.
