PREMJIT SEN’S EFFORTS REAPED RESULTS FOR KAB COACHES AT THE RANI LAKSHMIBAI ATMARAKSHA PRASHIKSHAN
With the efforts of the President of Karate Do Association of Bengal (KAB) & Jt.Secretary of Karate India Organisation Hanshi Premjit Sen, Coaches were appointed for the “Rani Laxmi Bai Atmaraksha Prashikshan” organised by Kolkata Police & Samagra Shiksha Mission Kolkata .
This programme is a prestigious and official project to make the society aware of self-defense. Hanshi Premjit Sen’s tireless efforts are popularising Karate amongst the masses in Bengal.
The General Secretary of KAB, Hanshi Joydeb Mondal, has supported him along with all the members of KAB.
The event was inaugurated on 13.12.2023 by Shri Bratya Basu. Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge. Department of School Education. Govt. of West Bengal, Mr Vineet Kumar Goel, Respected Police Commissioner of Kolkata, Mr Navender Singh, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Kolkata Police and many other eminent personalities .
This project has given opportunity to many coaches of KAB to earn their living and be a part of an official project under the Government of West Bengal.
KAB is the only authentic Karate Association in West Bengal which is recognized by Bengal Olympic Association (BOA) and Karate India Organisation (KIO). KAB has around 3 lakhs practitioners in all the districts in Bengal. Not only that, KAB provides Sponsorships to all its players and coaches for any official events.Bengal players have always made proud not even at the National levels, but also World, Asian, Commonwealth and South Asian levels, by winning medals at every stage.
KAB had also given the platform to all its players and coaches to train with World level and Olympic level coaches and players during the pandemic. Being a non-profit organization with no Sponsorship, KAB had given financial assistance to its players and coaches whenever they needed.
KAB had also provided technical assistance at CISCE, School Games and various official University level Selections and Government programes like State Games organised by Bengal Olympic Association.
The contributions of Hanshi Premjit Sen has been immense. His life is fully dedicated to Karate and the way he had promoted Karate has brought popularity amongst everyone in Bengal.
