Nation’s biggest karate event at Netaji Indoor Stadium under Hanshi Premjit Sen.

“7TH INTERNATIONAL KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP 2023 – INDIAN CHALLENGERS’ CUP” SUCCESSFULLY CONDUCTED IN A GRAND WAY AT NETAJI INDOOR STADIUM (KOLKATA) ON 29TH & 30TH AUGUST 2023

7th International Karate Championship – Indian Challengers’ Cup

All India Seishinkai Shitoryu Karate Do Federation organized it’s grand “7th International Karate Championship – Indian Challengers’ Cup” at the Netaji Indoor Stadium (Kolkata) on 29th & 30th August 2023.

Around 6000 players took part in this event where players from Malaysia, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Iran, Saudi Arabia and India took part in front of a packed Stadium on both the days. The first day of the Tournament saw the Cadet, Junior, Senior and the Master categories taking place, while the second day included the Sub-Junior categories which included players starting as young as 5 years to 13 years.

Hanshi Premjit Sen always says that one must sharpen his/her sword to be ready to face any challenges in life. And so, the Master’s category was organized where men and women above the age of 35 years took part with utmost zeal and courage.

The most attractive event of the Championship was the Team Kumite event for the Boys and Girls. The enthusiasm shown at this event was electrifying as every member of the Team wanted to grab the Champion’s Trophy. A total sum of Rs. 3 Lakhs were given to the proud winners of this nail-biting event. Moreover, the female Team Kumite category emphasized on popularizing and encouraging the women in our society and showcase the women-empowerment in all. The entire event was telecasted LIVE on various social media platforms.
