Another feather on a hat of West Bengal. World Karate Federation (WKF) is the ultimate platform for Karate. An infinite number of people aspire to be a part of it either in the form of a competitor or as a Referee but only the best ones get to be there.
This year 250 candidates appeared in the highest rank exam, WKF Referee Examination, held in San Tiago, Chile from 18-21st October, out of which only 40 could make their place in the success list.
From India, only one person could add his name in the list and that is Hanshi Premjit Sen from West Bengal. Premjit Sen has already produced many International Champions including WKF champions and he is still continuing imparting his exquisite training to his students.
With his success in this examination, he has proved that he, himself is equally continuing to rise and shine further, setting new boundaries for himself and reaching new heights each day. Nothing can stop him and hence he is well quoted everywhere as “Bengal Tiger”.
The present President of Bengal karate and RC
Chairman of Karate Association of India MR. Premjit
Sen and another history he created by becoming first
Bengali to appear as a Referee and Judge of World
Karate Federation. This is an honour for Bengal.
Hanshi Premjit Sen is the one who has given India
Numerous champions over the year, and make karate
One of the prime sports in Bengal.
This is the greatest definition of what Bengal can.
