
Anypama Swain won a Silver and Bronze Medal in the 5th Asian Ju-Jiutsu Championship which was held on the 15th September 2021 at Abu Dhabi, and made our country proud.
After the girls put up a stellar performance at the Summer Olympics and Paralympics in Tokyo 2020, the thread of winning medals at the International level, seems to be at its peak. Anypama competed in the fighting system as well as contact fight in the Championship and won medals in this combat sport.
She is currently working in Odisha Police and is a multisport talent of our country. She had the honour of winning a Gold medal in the Thailand Open World Ranking Ju-Jiutsu Championship in 2018 and followed up with a Bronze medal winning performance in the World Martial Arts Mastership in Korea. Adding to her accolades, she has also won a Gold medal in the Asian Powerlifting Championship in 2017.
She is a 4 times Ju-Jiutsu National Champion and Silver and a Bronze medalist in Karate. She is also a 2 times State level Wrestling Champion in all weight categories. Finally, she is also an Ex-National Champion in the game of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).
Indeed, she is a player who has abundant talent and a champion in all the forms of combat game and martial arts. “A unique Martial Artist”.
