A courtesy meeting was held with the Deputy Consul General of China in Kolkata at his residence, in the presence of Bipasha Pal, a highly talented karateka from India who has been selected to participate in the forthcoming Asian Karate Championship.

Bipasha Pal, trained under the guidance of Hanshi Premjit Sen, is a decorated athlete who has achieved the titles of National Champion, South Asian Karate Champion, and has also won both silver and gold medals at the prestigious Commonwealth Karate Championship. Her consistent performances and dedication to the sport have established her as one of India’s brightest hopes on the international stage.

During the meeting, discussions focused on strengthening sporting relations between India and China, and the encouragement of young athletes in international competitions. The Deputy Consul General appreciated the efforts and determination shown by Bipasha and conveyed his best wishes for her success in the championship.

Hanshi Premjit Sen, President of Karate Do Association of Bengal and a distinguished international referee, will also be traveling to China to officiate at the Asian Karate Championship. His appointment as referee is a matter of pride, reflecting India’s growing recognition in the global karate community.

Speaking on the occasion, Hanshi Premjit Sen said:
