Kolkata, March 2-3, 2025 – A two-day Advanced Karate Training Camp was held at Salt Lake BT Block, Kolkata, under the expert guidance of renowned karateka Hanshi Premjit Sen. The intensive training session, attended by over 250 karate instructors from across West Bengal, aimed to upgrade and update their knowledge and skills.
Hanshi Premjit Sen, a pioneer in promoting karate in India, emphasized the importance of continuous learning and practice for instructors. “In karate, there is no shortcut. Every instructor must practice and strive for excellence, as their performance speaks louder than words,” he quoted during the session.
The training camp, which took place on March 1-2, 2025, consisted of rigorous sessions from 10 am to 1 pm and 5 pm to 8 pm. Hanshi Premjit Sen shared his vast knowledge and expertise, honed over decades of dedication to the sport.
Participants praised the training camp, acknowledging the significant impact it will have on their teaching and coaching.
“I’m grateful to Hanshi Premjit Sen for sharing his invaluable expertise with us. This training will undoubtedly enhance our skills and benefit our students,” said Shihan Harish Mandol, a renowned karate instructor from Kolkata.
“This camp has been an eye-opener for me. Hanshi Premjit Sen’s teachings have inspired me to strive for excellence in my coaching,” added Debashis Mandal, a prominent karate instructor from Bengal.
Anil Rai, another esteemed instructor, noted, “Hanshi Premjit Sen’s emphasis on discipline, hard work, and self-improvement has motivated me to push my students to achieve their full potential.”
Among the female instructors, Puja Das commented, “This training camp has empowered me to become a better coach and mentor to my students. I’m thankful to Hanshi Premjit Sen for his guidance and support.”
