The Hooghly District Seishinkai Inter-Club Karate Championship was successfully held at Nine Star Club, Taldanga, under the able leadership of Shihan Sekhar Guha Mazumder
With an impressive participation of around 400 karatekas, the event highlighted the growing enthusiasm and strength of Seishinkai Karate in the district. The championship witnessed young and talented athletes displaying exceptional skill, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the day.
Mr. Ram Chakraborty, Hon’ble Mayor of Chandannagar, graced the occasion and blessed the participants, appreciating the federation’s efforts in promoting karate and nurturing young talent across the region.
A special note of gratitude goes to Hanshi Premjit Sen for his continuous guidance and motivation, which have been instrumental in the growth and success of Seishinkai Karate across West Bengal and India.

The organizing team — Sensei Kuntal Ghosh, Sensei Rajat Saha, Sensei Trayee Majumder, Sensei Kritee Majumder, and Sensei Rohit Roy — were the main pillars behind this event’s success, ensuring flawless coordination and a spirited atmosphere for all participants.
Shihan Rana Karmakar also blessed the young karatekas and encouraged them to keep striving for excellence.
Among the many outstanding performers, the following young talents truly stole the show:
Rishi Roy (5 yrs), Krittika Nag (6 yrs), Parnita Sadhukhan, Amrita Pal, Roshni Saha, and Soumi Halder — their performances mesmerized the audience and reflected the bright future of Indian karate.
The event concluded with renewed energy and commitment to continue spreading the true values of karate — discipline, respect, and unity — under the banner of Seishinkai.
