The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has approved a significant enhancement in its annual financial support for sports development across the country. The annual grant provided to National Sports Federations has been doubled from ₹10 lakh to ₹20 lakh. In addition, State Olympic Associations will now receive ₹10 lakh per year, increased from the earlier allocation of ₹7 lakh.
This decision reflects the IOA’s strong commitment to strengthening the sporting ecosystem and supporting athletes and sports organizations at both national and state levels.
