Under the esteemed guidance of Master Premjit Sen, the Hapkido Association of Bengal (HAB) successfully organised its 2nd Hapkido State Championship 2025 at Ar Srimantapur Anandam Club and Nabadarsha Co-operative Housing Society Ltd.

The two-day event witnessed outstanding participation from athletes across Bengal, who displayed remarkable skill, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the championship. The electric atmosphere reflected the growing strength and unity of the Hapkido fraternity in the state.

The Hapkido Association of Bengal continues to progress steadily under the dynamic leadership of Master Bappaditya Nandi (President), Master Indranil Chatterjee (General Secretary), and Master Kaushik Basak (Treasurer) — whose tireless efforts and vision have strengthened the foundation of authentic Hapkido training and competition in Bengal.

The championship was expertly directed by Master Indranil Das and Master Tanmoy Dutta, ensuring smooth coordination and fair conduct across all categories. Master Ritwik Bhattacharya served as the Chief Referee, supported by a highly competent panel of referees from HAB.

Adding to the strength of the organising committee were Master Rashbihari Paul, Master Mriganko Ghosh, Master Anthony Halder, Master Sandip Nayek, Master Netai Mondal, Master Priya Burman, and several other dedicated officials — whose teamwork and commitment made the event a grand success.

Speaking on the occasion, Master Premjit Sen praised the organisers and participants, saying:

“It fills my heart with pride to see Hapkido flourishing in Bengal with such enthusiasm and technical precision. The commitment of the organisers and the energy of the young participants truly reflect the spirit of martial arts — discipline, humility, and perseverance.”

Master Indranil Chatterjee, General Secretary of HAB, also expressed his heartfelt gratitude:

“This championship is a milestone for Hapkido in Bengal. The support from our team, coaches, referees, and students has been phenomenal. Under the constant guidance of Master Premjit Sen, we are confident that Hapkido in Bengal will continue to reach new heights and inspire the next generation of martial artists.”

With such strong leadership, coordination, and passion, the Hapkido Association of Bengal stands firmly committed to promoting authentic, disciplined, and technically recognised Hapkido across the state and beyond.
