Ajith Haridas and Vijay Lancy won the men’s doubles 40-plus title of BWF world Badminton Championship in Poland on Sunday.
The Indian badminton duo of Ajith Haridas and Vijay Lancy grabs the men’s doubles 40-plus title in the Yonex BWF World Senior Badminton Championship held at Katowice, Poland. At the final played on Sunday, Haridas and Lancy defeated the Danish pair Esben Kaempegaard and Morten Rasmussen by giving a clean performance with the end result 19-21, 21-17, 21-19. The Chennai duo, members of the Madras Cricket Club, had previously beaten the French team of Xavier Engrand and Jerome Krawcyzk 21-13, 18-21, 21-8.
