Mr.Narender Dhruv Batra President of Indian Olympic Association keen to meet National Sports Federations to plan for Tokyo Olympic 2020
Mr.Narinder Batra has said he is keen to meet with National Sports Federation (NSF) officials early next year to plan and strategise for the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Mr.Batra as well as IOA’s main motto of the meeting to increase the Medal tally of the country in Olympic Game
Mr.Batra wrote in a letter that “In the early part of 2020, I would like to have a one-on-one meeting with the president and secretary general of the 33 NSFs to discuss for Tokyo 2020 and also their planning for Paris 2024,”.
“I feel it is time for us – NSFs – to plan our things and strategise (which I am sure you all have done) how we can give our best to make our country proud in 2020 and 2024 Olympics.”
Batra, who became a Executive member of the International Olympic Committee earlier this year, added: “The Government has opened its heart in supporting athletes in their preparation for 2020 and also 2024.”
